We welcome women and genderqueer folks - including non-binary, gender non-conforming and transgender folks of all identities - to attend our events. Not sure if you should attend? Check out our FAQs for more information.

Our goal is to create and maintain a safe and diverse space where consent and respect are our first priorities. Harassment of any kind (unwanted contact, verbal or physical abuse, racism, homophobia, transphobia, body-shaming, etc.) will NOT be tolerated.

  • BISHOP, CA

    MARCH 15-17, 2024

    This is where it all started. Our flagship festival, we’ve been hosting our festival in partnership with our local partners in Payahuunadu since 2016. Three-days of climbing, learning, community and laughing in the desert with women + genderqueer climbers of all ages!

    This festival takes place annually in early spring.

  • RED RIVER GORGE, KY

    MAY 16-18, 2025

    The Flash Foxy Mini-Fest in the Red River Gorge is an intimate, three-day event focused on sport climbing and skill building workshops, open to genderqueer and women climbers of all ages!

    This is a brand new event for 2025!

  • NORTH CONWAY, NH

    SEPTEMBER 29-OCTOBER 1, 2023

    The kid sibling to our flagship Flash Foxy Climbing Festival in Bishop, Trad Fest is a three-day climbing event for women and genderqueer climbers of all ages with rotating locations every 3-5 years. This event will have a trad climbing focus but will also include opportunities for bouldering and sport climbing!

    From 2017-2019, we had the immense pleasure of hosting our festival in Chattanooga, TN. Trad Fest moved to North Conway in 2022!

  • Scholarship and Mutual Aid Opportunities

    We offer scholarships that cover registrations fees as well as travel stipends in hopes to expand access to those who might not be able to attend otherwise due to financial reasons. We prioritize support for folks who have been historically excluded from outdoor spaces. An option to provide mutual aid at registration also allows participants with means to assist our scholarship program.

  • Local and Community Partnerships

    Understanding that as climbers, it is key that we work hand in hand with local community members and businesses. As such, we work closely with local partners including but not limited to the Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Tribal Council, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, print shops, caterers and more to spend as many of our dollars locally.

  • Women and Genderqueer Leadership

    We believe that it’s important that we should be represented in all aspects of leadership and expertise. That is why all our staff, volunteers, guides, athletes, panelists, presenters and more is comprised completely of women and genderqueer folks. We believe it helps to reinforce the fact that we can be experts and provides a safe learning experience for all.

  • Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

    We acknowledge that all our events happen on the ancestral lands of the Indigenous People of Turtle Island, who have been the caretakers of this land since time immemorial. In respect for this truth, we incorporate land acknowledgments into all our events. In addition, when possible, we work with the local Tribal Council, Cultural Centers and other groups to incorporate cultural information to our festivals as well as donate a portion of funds raised.
